Property Tax Appeal Appraisals

Is the county taxing you on a value your home can't sell for?
County values come from mass appraisal models — algorithms that value thousands of homes at once and miss what makes yours different: the dated kitchen, the failing roof, the busy road, etc. When the model gets it wrong, you pay for it every year. An independent appraisal is the strongest evidence you can bring to a Board of Equalization hearing.

Assessment jumped and doesn't match reality?

We value your specific property — condition, features, and location factors the county's model can't see.

Wondering if an appeal is worth it?

One successful appeal can save thousands per year — and the savings recur every year the correction holds.

Worried about cost?

Many tax appeal appraisals can be completed as a desktop assignment using photos and public records — often the most affordable appraisal we offer.

Facing a filing deadline?

Appeal windows are short and strict. Tell us your deadline and we'll build the timeline around it.

Not sure you have a case?

Our Honest-Read Guarantee. Every tax appeal appraisal begins with an assessment review. If our initial research shows your assessed value is well-supported and an appeal isn't worth pursuing, we'll tell you straight — and refund your fee minus a $75 assessment review charge. You'll know where you stand either way.

The assessment review determines whether we proceed with a full appraisal. If we proceed, the appraisal fee is earned upon delivery of the report; the outcome of your appeal is determined by the Board of Equalization and is not guaranteed.

A note on value dates

Your appeal must address the assessed value as of the county's assessment date — not today's market. That's a retrospective valuation, and it's standard work for us. We'll match the effective date to your county's requirements.
